The potential of closing missing links of small scale infrastructure in Europe’s border regions for growth and employment

The overall objective of this study was a systematic analysis of problems faced by European border regions due to missing links in small scale infrastructure. This included a typology of transport modes, the elaboration of different types of challenged border zones, the assessmnet of funding possibilities and 10 case studies. These case studies were identified in order to provide the required geographical coverage as well as identify a full range of challenges and related solutions.
