European Evaluation Helpdesk for Rural Development 2014–2020

The task of the Helpdesk is to improve the fundamentals, methods and implementation of evaluation of rural development policies. As a service tool of the European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) the team supports the European Commission and the Member States. The focus of the services is the Common Monitoring and Evaluation System (CMES). The Helpdesk plays an important role both in the methodological development as well as in knowledge transfer. Of importance to the Helpdesk is the effective use of the extensive methodologies and praxis-oriented know-how of the evaluation experts from all over Europe. The well-tailored division of labour between various teams ensures that results are available in a timely manner and are in accordance with scientific and practical standards. Metis has already produced similar services with a partner company in the previous programming period.
