Investment Support under Rural Development Policy

Which methods lead to which kind of results? The strengths and weaknesses of different methods for evaluation of investments (input-out analysis, peer group analysis, qualitative methods, etc.) are investigated based on literature and concrete case studies.  Furthermore, the conditions are fully assessed, in order to be used in evaluations of rural development programmes. The Member States and their regions can use the results of the evaluation as a guide for future evaluations on investment support.
